This Franciscan convent located in the heart of Sintra was founded in 1560 and will make you feel part of nature. Wander through tiny cells and long corridors with centuries-old doors. You can see cork everywhere (an inexpensive and excellent insulation) and discover what life was like for a monk. Plus, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Sintra hills.
