The Sintra National Palace was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995. See the seat of the Portuguese monarchs and see how they lived during the Middle Ages. Visit the Coat of Arms Room and see the most important collection of Mudejar tiles in the world.
Opening hours: daily from 9:30am to 6:30pm. On 12/31 open until 1pm.

NOTICE: Until the end of the first half of 2025, work will be carried out on the new facilities of the museum reserve of the National Palace of Sintra (former stables). These works may cause some restrictions on the circulation of vehicles and people, especially in Terreiro do Palácio.
