Introductory visit to ornithology to observe the main species of the Ebro Delta. The tour begins at La Casa de Fusta with a local guide who will show you the world of birds, passing through the Encanyissada Lagoon, Poble Nou del Delta, the Bahía dels Alfacs and the La Tancada lagoon. The visit will end at Seo BirdLife & Riet Vell, a nature reserve where volunteers help species to nest.

The Ebro Delta in your hands
Visit the Northern Delta to talk about rice production, cycle and invasive species. In Fangar Bay, where you can experience one of the saltiest plants with a special flavour. The tour will continue along the shores of the bays to stop at the Illa de Mar wetland where a short 1km walk will begin until reaching the viewpoint from where you can contemplate the mussel farms and the immensity of the Fangar Peninsula. At the end of the car, we will go to the fishing port of Illa de Mar to talk about the production of mussels and oysters. From this point we will return again to the Ecomuseum after enjoying this spectacular tour that will give you a total immersion of 3 hours in the particularities of this surprising Delta.

Photographic sunset among Flamingos
The tour will begin at an organic rice farm with a lagoon that is little known and much loved by wildlife photography enthusiasts. From the observatory and in the evening light, you will observe the birds from a few metres away. Get your camera ready! The tour will continue by vehicle through the Ebro Delta at the Tancada lagoon, where another stop will be made to try to spot flamingos. These birds have a very particular pinkish colour, but do you know the reason for this hue? You will find out on this tour! After seeing these animals, the route will continue to Trabucador beach. In this cove you can enjoy a romantic sunset in all its splendor, just when the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the Alfaques Bay begin to turn orange and scarlet.

Birdwatching. Bird watching in the Ebro Delta
The first stop will be the information point at the Olles lagoon, where you will be given an introduction to the Ebro Delta, its history, geology and declaration as a Natural Park. From there, you will go along the edge of the Olles lagoon to the rice fields. The tour will continue towards the hide of the lagoon to spot the birds with the help of binoculars that you will be loaned. The visit will continue along the Fangar Bay towards Goleró, an old arm of the Ebro and a point where seagrass accumulates, the result of the posidonia oceanica. We will continue along the green filter, a wetland that filters the water before it reaches the Mediterranean Sea, a charming area that is home to all kinds of birds, even flamingos! From the viewing point you will be able to see the immensity of the Fangar Bay and its mussel farms. The last stop will be at Puerto Illa de Mar, where you will learn about the production of mussels and oysters, their daily struggles, their environmental problems and the exquisiteness of this product.
The vehicle for the route is not included.
