It is divided into five thematic zones (Guadalquivir, Atlantic, Amazon, Pacific and Indo-Pacific) and allows visitors to take a journey through nature and history, since the entire route follows the same route as the first circumnavigation of the planet, with the uniqueness of being able to see up close the marine beings that accompanied the navigators of the Magallanes/Elcano expedition, in their extraordinary feat.During the visit you will have the opportunity to see more than seven thousand animals of about 400 different species, while you are surrounded by more than 3,000 cubic meters of water. All in two hours. Salmon, eels, trout, sturgeon, box fish, bull sharks (almost three meters), gray and nurse live in the Aquarium of Gijón with the loggerhead turtles. These are just some of the 5,000 animals you can see during the visit. The Aquarium aims to educate, disseminate and conserve the oceans. The walking route is through marked trails discovering the animals in their habitat general. The approximate length of the walking tour is 5 km and the total unevenness of 180 meters. There are lookouts with tables of interpretation from which contemplates the peaks and mountains of Lacuniacha. We recommend comfortable shoes suitable for the mountain. Wheelchairs are not allowed on the trails. Baby carrier backpack is recommended which can be rented in the case of there not have it. For health and safety reasons is not allowed the entry of animals, nor has kennel. There are seating areas along the way where you can buy snacks, drinks .... or consume the food itself. Show less
